CAN I TRUST A BROKER?

You should ensure your broker is an accredited mortgage consultant with your State’s appropriate regulating body. An affiliation with the Mortgage Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) and a dispute resolution service would be a bare minimum, and this should be proven in writing.

You shouldn’t have to ask for these – they should be offered to you by your broker.
